Majka Burhardt, '90 LCS alum, this past May climbed a 2,000' previously unclimbed granite face in Namibia with support from Polartec Challenge, Patagonia and The Banff Centre. Read about her latest adventure here.
Dru Donovan, '95 LCS alum, who received an M.F.A. in Photography from Yale University, had a show of her work at St. Paul Academy and Summit School this fall. Dru was the 2009 winner of the Richard Benson Award at Yale. Martin Dosh, '86 LCS alum and musician, is a percussionist who uses various electronics to compose his own pieces and collaborates with other local and nationally known musicians. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, and on the Letterman and Tonight Shows. You can read more about Martin and listen to him perform on his MySpace page.

Jessica Hopper's ('90 LCS alum) book The Girls' Guide to Rocking was nominated for the American Library Association's Excellent in Young Adult Nonfiction Award and made the 2010 Amelia Bloomer list for outstanding feminist book for young readers. Rachel Kitze, '03 LCS alum and currently a junior at St. Olaf College majoring in political science and environmental studies, spent the fall in Washington DC participating in the Washington Semester through American University. She participated in a seminar called International Law and Organizations, interned two days a week with Environment America, and conducted independent research.
